ROAMWARD BOUND, LLC
PASSENGER ACKNOWLEDGMENT OF RISK & RELEASE OF LIABILITY
This Passenger Acknowledgment of Risk and Release of Liability (“Agreement”) is entered into by the undersigned participant (“Participant,” “I,” or “Guest”) in favor of Roamward Bound, LLC (“Roamward Bound,” “RB,” “we,” or “us”).
By booking, participating in, or traveling on any Roamward Bound trip, I acknowledge and agree to the following:
1. ACKNOWLEDGMENT OF INHERENT RISKS
I understand that travel and participation in group travel experiences involve inherent risks, whether foreseeable or unforeseeable. These risks may include, but are not limited to:
- Motor vehicle travel, road conditions, traffic incidents, or accidents
- Slips, trips, falls, or other physical injuries
- Weather conditions, including heat, cold, rain, wind, or severe weather
- Outdoor or light physical activities, walking tours, uneven terrain, or prolonged standing
- Exposure to wildlife, insects, or natural environments
- Delays, itinerary changes, or disruptions beyond Roamward Bound’s control
- Limited access to medical facilities or emergency services in certain locations
- Acts or omissions of third-party service providers, vendors, guides, or other travelers
I acknowledge that these risks are an inherent part of travel and participation, and I voluntarily choose to participate with full knowledge of these risks.
2. VOLUNTARY ASSUMPTION OF RISK
I knowingly, freely, and voluntarily assume all risks associated with my participation in a Roamward Bound trip, whether known or unknown, foreseeable or unforeseeable, and whether arising from my own actions, the actions of others, or external conditions.
I understand that Roamward Bound does not guarantee safety and is not responsible for risks inherent to travel.
3. HEALTH, FITNESS & MEDICAL RESPONSIBILITY
I confirm that I am physically and mentally capable of participating in the trip I have booked. I acknowledge that Roamward Bound does not provide medical care, diagnosis, or treatment.
I am solely responsible for:
- Managing my own health conditions and medications
- Disclosing relevant health, mobility, or medical concerns prior to departure when appropriate
- Obtaining any recommended vaccinations or medical clearances
I understand that Roamward Bound may decline or limit my participation if my condition presents a safety risk to myself or others.
4. RELEASE OF LIABILITY
To the fullest extent permitted by law, I hereby release, waive, discharge, and hold harmless Roamward Bound, LLC, its owners, employees, contractors, trip leaders, agents, and affiliates from any and all claims, demands, causes of action, damages, losses, costs, or expenses arising out of or related to my participation in a Roamward Bound trip, including but not limited to:
- Personal injury, illness, or death
- Loss, theft, or damage to personal property
- Trip interruptions, delays, or cancellations
- Weather or natural conditions
- Acts or omissions of third-party providers
- Mechanical or equipment failures
- Government actions, restrictions, or regulations
This release applies regardless of whether such claims arise from negligence or otherwise, except where prohibited by law.
5. THIRD-PARTY PROVIDERS
I acknowledge that Roamward Bound acts solely as a trip organizer and facilitator and does not own or operate transportation services, accommodations, or activity providers unless expressly stated.
Roamward Bound is not responsible for the acts, omissions, or negligence of any third-party providers.
6. MINORS
I understand that participants under the age of 18 must be accompanied by a parent or legal guardian.
By signing below on behalf of a minor, I accept full responsibility for the minor’s participation, safety, conduct, and compliance with all policies.
7. AGREEMENT TO TERMS
I acknowledge that this Agreement is a condition of participation and is referenced in the Roamward Bound Terms & Conditions. I understand that failure to sign and return this document may result in cancellation of my booking.

8. GOVERNING LAW
This Agreement shall be governed by and interpreted in accordance with the laws of the state in which Roamward Bound, LLC is registered, without regard to conflict-of-law principles.
