Roamward Bound – Cancellation Policy

At Roamward Bound, LLC, we understand that plans change. This policy is designed to be clear, fair, and reflective of the prepaid reservations and advance commitments required to run small-group travel experiences. All guests are encouraged to review this Cancellation Policy together with our Terms & Conditions, which govern all bookings.

1. DEPOSITS

All trips require a non-refundable $299 deposit per person to secure your spot. Deposits may be transferred one time to another Roamward Bound trip if the request is made more than 60 days before departure and space is available. Deposits cannot be refunded or transferred within 60 days of departure.

2. PAYMENT SCHEDULE

50% of the trip cost is due on the date listed in your booking confirmation. Full payment is due 30 days before departure. Reservations not paid in full by the deadline may be cancelled without refund of the deposit.

3. CANCELLATION & REFUND POLICY

Refunds apply only to payments made beyond the $299 deposit.

A. More than 60 days before departure

100% refund of all payments made (excluding the deposit) OR 100% transfer of payments to another Roamward Bound trip The $299 deposit may be transferred one time

B. 31–60 days before departure

50% refund of all payments made (excluding the deposit) OR 75% of your payments may be transferred as credit toward another trip The $299 deposit is non-refundable and cannot be transferred within this window

C. 30 days or less before departure

No refunds No transfers or credits At this stage, all vendor payments (lodging, tours, transportation) are fully committed

4. NO-SHOWS

Guests who do not arrive for the trip or who miss scheduled departure times are considered no-shows.

No-show bookings are non-refundable and non-transferable, regardless of circumstance. This includes failure to meet passport, visa, or travel readiness requirements.

5. CANCELLATION BY ROAMWARD BOUND

In the rare event Roamward Bound must cancel a trip due to low enrollment, severe weather, safety concerns, or operational issues:

Guests may choose:

A full refund, OR A 100% credit toward another Roamward Bound trip

Roamward Bound is not responsible for additional expenses you may incur, including airfare, lodging, meals, or transportation outside the tour.

We strongly recommend travel insurance for all guests.

6. TRAVEL INSURANCE

Travel insurance is strongly recommended, especially for trips involving:

Airfare Winter or coastal weather Personal health concerns Family emergencies Trip delays or interruptions

Insurance can help protect your investment if you must cancel due to illness, unexpected events, or travel disruptions.

7. CHANGES TO THIS POLICY

Roamward Bound reserves the right to update this Cancellation Policy at any time. The version in effect at the time of your booking will apply to your reservation.
